Poland’s Property Investment Potential Showcased

Poland's Property Investment Potential ShowcasedWhen Poland, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovenia and Slovakia joined the European Union in 2004 they all benefited from a significant amount of immediate foreign direct investment which was both designed to boost their economies and to promote their potential on the world business stage.

Each of the eastern eight countries have gone on to offer investors varying opportunities for profit but it is the property market in Poland that is giving investors something to get incredibly excited about.  Both the commercial property prospects in Warsaw and eastern eight residential property opportunities are being showcased at this year’s Cityscape event in Dubai.

A great deal of the massive EU and private funding that has already gone into Poland has been focused on regenerating the country’s capital city of Warsaw.  Significant investment has been made into turning the city around from a fairly drab and uninspiring business prospect into a shiny new international environment packed with state of the art office accommodation, commercial and consumer centers and entertainment facilities including cinemas, shopping complexes and hotels.

This year those investors looking for the next big thing in terms of high returning opportunities will be able to examine for themselves the potential on offer now from direct investment in a series of commercial property prospects in Poland’s capital city.  The portfolios to be showcased feature the best of the best - the best commercial property ventures and those offering the best potential returns.

In terms of the residential property prospects in Poland and indeed in each of the new eight emerging EU countries there will be an intensification of demand for new accommodation over the next twenty years when up to 30% of accommodation stocks will have to be rebuilt as former communist cheap housing begins to dilapidate beyond repair.  There will be huge contracts available for those developers interested in building up the residential accommodation units and there will be room for direct foreign investment in the residential real estate sector as well.

At this year’s Cityscape event Poland is predicted to be the most exciting emerging European prospect on offer to the international investor audience and the realization of its popularity is believed to be only just beginning.
