Italian Gusto FestivalFor an authentic and literal taste of Italy for anyone interested in the culture and above all the delicious food and sumptuous wines of Italy, the Italian Gusto Festival will be THE place to visit this autumn!

For three days this October over 8,000 square meters of the Barbican Exhibition Centre in London will be transformed into the ultimate Italian Piazza where everyone can come and enjoy the culinary delights of Italy - they will be on show for everyone to savour and delight in.

From the 14th to the 16th of October 2005 the Italian Gusto Festival of food, wine and related items, products, services and features comes to London.  The idea behind the festival is to introduce us all to some of the finest products from Italy, many of which cannot be sourced or bought locally in the UK, and to try out as much food and wine as possible! 

There will be celebrated Italian chefs on site cooking up a feast, there will be wine producers offering up samples of their wares, there will be stall after exhibition stand laden with goodies to try out and buy up.

Italy is so famous for its fantastic and unrivalled cuisine and wine and this festival brings together the very best of this wonderful country and gives the Great British public a chance to tuck into and sample what they’re missing by remaining in Blighty!  And I can guarantee that anyone considering starting a new life in Italy will be fuelled on to realise their dreams after a visit to the Gusto Festival!

According to the organizers of the Italian Gusto Festival every single exhibitor and participant has been hand picked from a huge list of applicants so that only the best of the best are showcased.

Expect to find the top vintners, culinary craftsmen and gourmet experts from across Italy and come and try everything on offer.  There will be a fantastic competition for all visitors to enter, you could win one of over 1000 amazing food and wine related prizes, there will be stall after stall of produce to sample and purchase and of course there will be a wealth of invaluable information all about Italian food, wine and living for you to take in and benefit from.
