The property market in North Cyprus is a dynamic and exciting market and it is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing, best returning markets in the Mediterranean.

The Attraction

Buyers are being attracted by the stunning and quite simply unrivalled location, and by the wealth and choice of property available to them.

What’s Available?

Property available on the island ranges from incredibly attractively priced holiday flats and villas to well appointed and located apartments close to the beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia.  Or well constructed and located family villa homes with pools and gardens right up to stunning luxury mansions! 

Why North Cyprus?

North Cyprus remained undiscovered for many years after Cyprus became a divided island in 1974 and as a result it was protected from the less aesthetic mass development that blighted the rest of the Mediterranean coastal regions during the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Architects and town planers the world over have learnt from the mistakes their counterparts made during these years and in many parts of the world you see redevelopment taking place where they are trying to claw back some of the original beauty that was destroyed. 

In North Cyprus developers don’t have to overcome these difficulties.  No hideous monstrosities were built there!  Development during the architectural nightmare years never took place there and so there is no need to tear down ugly concrete jungles!

Property developers in the North Cyprus property market already understand the need to build sympathetically and to construct complimentary buildings and homes, the town planers in North Cyprus have seen the way the south of the island has been spoilt in places with high-rise, low-quality apartment blocks and hotels and they have placed a blanket ban on such construction even being considered in North Cyprus.

Kyrenia versus Saint Tropez!

Kyrenia Harbour has been preserved and protected from the destruction and development of big business tourist resort moguls and the only other harbour in the world that is so pretty and so well preserved is Saint Tropez.
