Close to Esentepe is the newly opened, exclusive Korineum Golf and Country Club which is proving to be a popular draw with both local residents and those looking for a golfing holiday abroad.  The golf club is open to all, you can pay for a day’s play or join up and there are many membership programs available.  The country club has a fabulous restaurant and the bars and outdoor cafe areas make for great meeting places – naturally the establishment of a golf club of this quality has drawn significant construction interest and golf property in North Cyprus is being snapped up by those who want to live near the course and those who know that owning such real estate is an excellent investment asset as the demand for holiday homes next to such facilities is intense.

There are a number of large scale property development projects underway near Korineum such as Sea Terra, Nature Bay and Turtle Bay – these types of development offer a range of property types including apartments, duplexes, penthouses, townhouses and detached villas and come with superior communal facilities and amenities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, shops, restaurants, private beaches etc.

Properties such as these are often sold as investment assets to people who realize that while they can enjoy the property for a couple of weeks a year, they can rent their second home out to all those wanting to come on holiday in North Cyprus and earn a nice income from their investment asset.

Alternative property types in the Tatlisu, Esentepe region of North Cyprus include log homes which are set in an elevated and wooded position looking down on the eastern edges of Kyrenia and the Mediterranean Sea and bespoke homes being constructed on individual plots of land to the specifications of the owner.
