If you or someone you know are thinking about buying a property abroad this summer and you’d love a chance to share the purchase experience with TV viewers, then the UK’s Channel 4 hit television series ‘A Place in the Sun’ would like to hear from you.
Yes it’s true, if you’re buying property abroad and want to be on TV here’s your chance. For the next series, ‘A Place in the Sun’ will be focusing on lower cost European destinations such as Krakow in Poland and Istria in Croatia (pictured) for example, and they are looking for UK based holiday home hunters with a budget of around GBP 100,000 who are going to be spending part of Summer 2007 looking in these lower cost countries for their very own place in the sun!
So, if you’ve been thinking about exploring Europe for your next piece of investment real estate, for a retirement property for your parents or for that holiday home that you, your children and grandchildren can enjoy and you have the money in place to begin searching, how about the chance of appearing on television for providing that last bit of impetus and inspiration to book the inspection flights!
‘A Place in the Sun’ on Channel 4 has been running for five successful seasons now; it’s a television series that has spawned books and inspired a magazine series as well as an entire generation of people who are getting braver and more confident about buying property abroad thanks to the excellent advice the show imparts and the lovely properties the featured families and couples get to view and sometimes buy.
The formula for the show is simple and effective – find families and couples who’d like to be featured on television and who have a budget to buy a property abroad, travel to their chosen destination and select a series of suitable properties for them to view, fill in the viewing audience all about what it’s like to buy and own property in the featured country and then sit back and film the featured family browsing the property on offer.
For the featured families and couples they not only get to appear on television and enjoy their fifteen minutes of fame, they get the expert guidance and assistance of the show’s presenter and researchers so that they view decent properties and learn more bout the buying process, regulations and realities of buying abroad in their chosen location.
Pre-production is about to begin for the sixth series of ‘A Place in the Sun’ and so far the show’s producers have decided they’d like to look at Krakow in Poland, Corsica, Sardinia, the Istria region of Croatia, Zaragoza in Spain and the Alsace in France – therefore if you or anyone you know has a budget of around GBP 100,000 and a serious interest in property in any of these locations, please contact the production team for ‘A Place in the Sun’ as featured on Channel 4.
