With one in eight of us considering purchasing a house in the sun in the next five years according to a recent survey in the UK, are you too dreaming of a new life overseas?

If you are one of ‘us’ and have decided that you’d like to see more of the world, experience a different culture and broaden your geographical horizons have you actually thought about your perfect destination?

Some people have very definite plans about where in the world they’d like to be this time next year, but it seems that just as many people are a little overwhelmed at the choice and have yet to make a final destination decision.

If you are thinking about where in the world you’d like to live this five part article series should cover some of the main points for consideration. 

Not all points will necessarily apply to your particular decision making criteria - if you want to retire to the sun you probably won’t be interested in the job prospects in a given location for example - but this article series is a guide not a definitive list and hopefully it offers you some food for thought, and asks the questions you need to find an answer to in your dream destination!
