Summary: Great news for busy parents living in Dubai, a brand new caring and nurturing nursery is opening September 2008

New Nursery Opening for Parents Living in DubaiFantastic news for busy mums living in Dubai – a brand new nursery is opening in September.  With demand for places at international schools and nurseries in Dubai at a premium, this will indeed be welcome news for expats already in residence and those considering moving to live in Dubai.

Even for non-working parents who simply want to spend some time catching up with chores or who just want to integrate their children, the news that a new nursery is opening and it has 40 places available for children as young as just 40 days of age is very welcome.

In Dubai it is essential to have childcare and education organised as early as possible because places at all the best schools and nurseries get filled very quickly indeed.  Of course there is usual parental rivalry about who gets their children into the best schools as well (we hate this), but it is inevitable we suppose.  So, as stated, the new nursery in Safa is welcome indeed.

The headmistress is Ellen van den Bergh, and she and her experienced and caring staff will be on hand to look after forty children between the ages of 40 days and 4+ years.  Children will benefit from being looked after in a nurturing environment where they can play and even begin to learn from the International Early Childhood Curriculum.  French and Arabic as second languages will also be taught and the environment at Little Woods Nursery will be a home-from-home safe and caring place.

The nursery has a supervised swimming pool as well as a large play area, a covered outdoor, climate controlled activity centre, there is CCTV in place throughout the premises and baby yoga is even taught.  There will be field trips for the older children and all food and drink for children but not babies is provided and included in the price.

At this time we have no details on what the fees will be – but this is Dubai we’re talking about so it’s not going to be cheap!  However what costs peace of mind for busy working and career minded parents who need to ensure that their precious little ones are being perfectly taken care of.

If you’re living in Dubai check out the Little Woods website for more information or to find out more about the nursery.
