Immigration to Canada Made Easy
How you can immigrate to Canada temporarily, try living and working in Canada and then gain full Canadian resident status
So you want to immigrate to Canada? Well, who can blame you – Canada is a stunning nation, it is geographically diverse, it has incredible natural scenery, fantastic and exciting towns and cities, it offers its residents and citizens a high standard of living and what’s more, it welcomes almost 100,000 new foreign residents each year who want to live and work in Canada.
The title of this article is immigration to Canada made easy – and some reading this may well be sceptical because they have heard about and possibly even experienced a difficult visa acquisition process – but in truth, if you’re a skilled worker with proven skills and experience in one of the many fields that Canada requires workers, your immigration to Canada could be very smooth indeed.
Living in Canada is a dream that many people from around the world share – as stated the standard of living is very high and the Canadian authorities plough significant funds annually into the ongoing development of the nation so that it remains a desirable place to live.
Other attributes and factors in the nation’s favour include the fact that free education and healthcare are both readily available in Canada, the nation has acceptable crime statistics and the climate, particularly in the southernmost towns and cities, is relatively temperate and stable - although you will need to be prepared for cold winters no matter where you end up living in Canada!
But the one main driving force behind many people’s desires to live in Canada is the fact that there is a very strong employment market there and this is also the key to easy immigration to Canada…
Now, moving to Canada is a big decision and one that affects not just you but your entire family – whether you’re married and have dependents or not, chances are you have family who will miss you when you relocate and you will also find there are certain aspects of ‘home’ that you will miss too.
Most people get over these feelings and settle down happily to their new life in Canada – but what if you don’t? What if you relocate and commit fully to Canada and then discover that you can’t stand the cold winters or you just don’t like the Canadian way of life?
Well, what if we told you there is a way you can achieve your immigration dream whilst trying Canada on for size?
It’s true, there is a way that certain skilled workers can gain a temporary work permit, move to Canada, live there, work there and then determine whether the country is right for them, and if they do decide they want to remain in Canada they can get their full immigration application processed by using their time in temporary employment to get a fully compliant job offer because it is always easier to get a job when you are: -
a) in a job
b) in Canada
c) and you already have a temporary work permit…
If you take this approach of getting a temporary job in Canada and a temporary work permit, you can immigrate to Canada, try the nation out and see if you like living in Canada and if you do, while you’re there on your work assignment you can network, apply for permanent jobs and ultimately you can work hard to get a permanent offer of employment and thereby gain your full residency permissions.
This is a method of approach used by increasing numbers of skilled workers who legitimately have the experience and talents required by many Canadian employers but who either don’t want to wait for up to five years for permission to immigrate, or who want to try out living in Canada before they fully commit to relocation.
