The DIFC will be The City within a city inside Dubai…a financial centre to rival that of The City of London and a city in its own right inside the emirate of Dubai - a unique place in which people can live and work in luxurious exclusivity.
The entire Dubai International Financial Centre district is planned to extend over at least a 110 acre site and house incredible state of the art office blocks, exclusive housing, bars, restaurants, hotels, museums and art galleries; it will be accessible by an automatic transit line and you will be able to move from district to district in climate controlled comfort. This incredible futuristic concept is slowly becoming a reality as the initial build phases progress towards completion.
At the moment companies are being asked to register their interest for inclusion within the DIFC free zone and their applications are being scrutinised for compliance and suitability. There will be vacancies for companies in the main 6 sectors of the zone which are: -
Banking Services
DIFX (exchange)
Asset Management
Reinsurance
Targeted Service Provision
and Islamic Finance
And companies who are invited to take up their position within the financial free zone will benefit from 100% foreign ownership, zero taxation to pay on income and profits, state of the art infrastructure and basically a restriction free business environment in which to grow and prosper - so it is no wonder then that the major banking and financial companies from around the world are clamouring for space inside DIFC and already structuring their new business and recruiting policies.
