Buying in BulgariaThis is a brand new title dedicated to property buyers hunting for their perfect place in Bulgaria – whether that be in the mountains, on the coast, in the cities or in rural, central Bulgaria.  The book focuses on buying property and settling down to a new life abroad.

‘Buying in Bulgaria’ has been written by Jonathan White and Dominic Whiting, experts in all things Bulgaria!  And the subtitle of their book sums up the content perfectly – ‘A Complete Property Buyer’s Guide to Bulgaria’ – with the assistance of expert contributors and a number of real life stories thrown in for good measure this is an excellent all round book covering all the essential facts about buying property in Bulgaria.

‘Buying in Bulgaria’ is very well laid out with each section of the book labelled and colour coordinated allowing a reader to quickly access any specific points of information that they require.  Our advice for those researching the Bulgarian property market in general is to first read the book from cover to cover because the wealth of background information the entire title gives about the country and its property market is invaluable.  Furthermore ‘Buying in Bulgaria’ gives detailed information about living in Bulgaria and finding out about the economics and politics of the country which are all important areas to research if you’re seriously thinking about committing to the real estate market of a given country.

After an initial introduction to the main aspects of Bulgaria, its politics, geography, climate etc., the book’s authors go through each region of Bulgaria in turn analysing the main towns per region and the property markets and attractions of each area.  There are contributions added from those who have already bought in Bulgaria as well as expert advice from real estate professionals for example, which makes the book incredibly easy to read, incredibly easy to learn from and also the advice the book contains is incredibly easy to implement!

One of the most useful sections in ‘Buying in Bulgaria’ is actually related more to living in Bulgaria and it contains information that is so difficult to source otherwise such as the cost of living, transport and accessibility, taxation and how to rent out a property asset owned in Bulgaria.  The amount of research and the vast array of related topics this book covers makes it one of the best ‘Buying Property in Bulgaria’ type resources.
